Key v14
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
It is not enough to idly agree that peace is better. We ought to continually expend significant effort to pursue it.
Application v13
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
When I feel like I have to say something, even when the Lord doesn't want me to, I'll pray about it and trust Him to take care of it without me saying anything, so that I can have peace.
It's good to hear that when our hearts call for peace, that is nothing but a desire for God's best. Sometimes my response to that desire is to separate myself from people or "lay low" until the battle blows over. But I've been thinking lately about, "blessed are the peacemakers." If there's anything we can do to promote peace in our immediate relationships, we need to have the courage to take those steps even though sometimes it can be difficult.
