He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
It doesn't discriminate here, like Everyone who has ears to hear,
but it says, He that hath an ear.
It seems to me like almost everybody out there has at least one ear. But, what do we hear?
This does not say that we should hear any old thing with out ears, but it specifies what we need to be listening to. It says, ...hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches.
That makes me want to pay more attention to the surrounding passage. But it also means that we should not allow ourselves to be influenced by other things; instead, we need to listen to the Spirit of the Lord.
