v25
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
We may be involved with doing good work, counseling other people about righteousness. Also, we need to make sure that we aren't being hypocrites. We should remember to be working faithfully on what we know is the right thing to do.
Application
Sometimes my tasks seem boring, and I'm not quite sure which thing would be the best to do first, and it seems like it would probably be OK to wait around for just "a little time." When I'm feeling lazy about doing things, I'll remind myself about how important it is to do the thing that I'm supposed to do then, and I'll "make myself do it."
