- the Lord used an angel in a dream again, to direct Joseph to bring his family back into Israel

- Yet another threat to Jesus, from Herod's son, yet another dream of warning, to turn aside from Judea, and yet another prophesy fulfilled, that Jesus would be called a Nazarene
