A great way to apply this verse is in reaching out to people with the gospel. It says, ...others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire...
As we go out and preach the good news to people, we have the chance, by doing that, to be pulling them out of the fire. We should be prepared and serious about these times, and we should carry out this outreach faithfully.
