I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
It was a good thing that the church of Ephesus could not bear them who were evil. This is convicting about our mindset about things that are evil. We shouldn't just think lightly about those things, thinking out for our own entertainment about how people could do evil things (scams, etc.), but we should utterly hate and despise that prospect of that sin in our own lives.
