But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Look at the second half of this verse. We must believe that: He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Do I believe that God will be a rewarder to even me, or do I think that sounds too good to be true?
And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.
We should take the time and be diligent to prepare our hearts to seek the Lord. We should have the faith that if we diligently seek Him, He will reward us.
