Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
We should have patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Application

When I feel like I have much affliction
as I try to follow the Lord and His Word in my life, here is a way that I can have joy. I'll take joy in those situations by patiently waiting on the Lord--like v10a talks about how we turned... to wait for his Son from heaven....
. I'll look forward, in faith, to my future with Him.
