- have unity and be completely sure of Jesus Christ because wisdom is in Him

- don't be deceived by people's philosophies-- Christ, the way we received Him, is enough
- v11-15
- the way we've received Christ, we don't need the law of ordinances like circumcision, or intruding into things about other spiritual beings
- v16-17
- the old testament laws about eating, and drinking, and observing days, are not an end in themselves; they're there to point to Christ
- v18-23
- true wisdom and reward comes from holding up Christ Himself, not people's teachings about outward behaviors
