v6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.
It's by the Lord's Holy Spirit that we can have the ability to do what's right, having been made free from sin. The Holy Spirit works through the Word of God in the Bible (John 14:26), and glorifies Jesus Christ (John 16:14).
John 14:26But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
We can find the strength and the heart to overcome temptation, by listening to God's Word in the Bible, and by having unwavering faith in who Jesus is. Then the Holy Spirit will remind us of the Lord's Words, and assure us of Him. That way, He will be with us, living through us, and helping us do what's right.
John 16:14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.
