v39
But Paul said, I am a man [which am] a Jew of Tarsus, [a city] in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
The people had just been going about to kill Paul, and beating him, and the soldiers had barely come and to rescue him by carrying him away. Here Paul was in front of the crowd, being carried up the stairs to the tower, he said, ...I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
We should be so bold and selfless that we're willing to risk our lives to do what we know the Lord really wants, and we should take opportunities to preach the gospel to people and do what's right, despite all adversity.
