v8
And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and [there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, [Do] not interpretations [belong] to God? tell me [them], I pray you.
Joseph said, [Do] not interpretations [belong] to God?
It struck me that Joseph just simply believed that the Lord would do this miracle for them. We should have that kind of faith, that we just know the Lord will help us when we need Him.
Application
1 Corinthians 10:13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
When I'm struggling against the temptation to get mad and talk the wrong way to people, I'll have the simple faith that I don't need to give in to that, because the Lord's help is sufficient. I'll work on having the same kind of faith that Joseph had, when he just knew that the Lord could give the interpretation of the dream.
