But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Discernment seems kind of like exercise. Sometimes we suffer, being tempted.

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
It's difficult to make the right decision, to choose the good and refuse the evil. But, as we do, it becomes a habit and we get better at it.
