Job 33

v27

He looketh upon men, and [if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted [that which was] right, and it profited me not;

This verse says, "It profited me not". Sin doesn't do us any good. Once we have done something wrong, we need to be humble enough to confess, "I have sinned."
