He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth [very] friends.
When a person has done something wrong, we shouldn't go around talking about it. If it doesn't have anything to do with us, we shouldn't get involved in the first place. If it is our business, we should do what we can to help get it dealt with, but once it's in the past, we should forget about it.
