So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Faith is like believing the Lord. That belief comes from hearing the Word of God, which is the Bible. If you have doubts, like thoughts that the story of Jesus might just be a made-up story, you can deal with those doubts and believe the Lord more, by listening to the Bible.
